"Place was clean and the host was super kind. A bit of an uphill walk if youre coming from the town but it is really close to a lovely viewpoint that overlooks the town. Very nice at sunset!"

"The room had an ensuite, though it was a bit cramped. The bed was okay, but a bit soft for me. You had an option of a continental breakfast, but the breakfast room was at another associated property 2 doors down. It was within walkimg distance of the town centre."

"Sheena, the manager, greeted us at check-in welcoming us to The Kelvin. We always stay here when we come to Oban. The location can't be beat, right next to the ferry terminal and the train station, shops and restaurants within minutes of walking out the door. The staff here is always friendly and the bar is one of the coziest in town. This is always a winner. "

The room was incredibly clean and had great views in the midst of Storm Amy of the waves etc. When shutting the shower door, one side of the glass completely shattered. Obviously very embarassing as it's a sliding bi folding door so impossible to slam etc. The lady working on reception immediately moved us to a different room and contacted a first aider. The first aider cleaned up the small cuts on my feet and was just incredibly lovely given how mortified i...
