Dejlige omgivelser - inde og ude

Stedet var dejligt og service helt i top. Man følte sig meget velkommen og der var tænkt på alting, der gjorde opholdet bekvemt. Huset ligger centralt - både i forhold til byen og området.

Excellent for B & B managed by a very hospitable lady- breakfast was made to perfection. location is off main road -so it is quiet. Easy access to main roads to go for walks or other locations to enjoy the beauty.

Aadvark - perfect B&B for an Ambleside visit

The Aadvark B&B is tucked away on a small street just a few minutes walk from the centre of Ambleside. It is friendly and well-run, and I'd recommend it as a great base to stay while exploring Ambleside and the surrounding area.

Highly recommended

The Aardvark B&B is ideally and centrally located in Ambleside, with well appointed and tastefully decorated rooms. Ours had a beautiful view. Very friendly and enormously helpful host, who also prepared a delicious breakfast that is sufficient to keep you going for most of the day! Would recommend thoroughly recommend the Aardvark.

Aardvark B+B - a great base to explore the Lakes

Aardvark is a perfect base to explore the northern Lake District. It is conveniently located, comfortable and clean. The owner is friendly and helpful and serves an excellent breakfast, including locally made sausages and locally smoked kippers. Aardvark is located on a quiet, residential street in Ambleside. There are plenty of places to eat, have coffee and buy hiking and outdoor equipment, so there is no need to bring it from home. I'd recommend Aardvark without hesitation.

lovely stay - thank you!

the b+b is easy to find (with a satnav), great parking in the summer, and the owner is lovely and gave us lots of info about the local area. the breakie was nice and our room had a gorgeous view of the mountains. we left after our three days fully refreshed and loved up! xxx

Small but friendly

Aardvark only has 3 rooms but very good service. breakfast is excellent, great variety of choice. Room has every amenity and mine had a great view. Only problem is the stairs which is a common problem with small establishments in Ambleside.
