"First, the pros:
The front desk guy was very helpful, friendly, and polite. I felt very welcomed and safe.
The price was as expected for a hotel of this type.
There were plenty of pillows and the room was clean.
Then, the cons:
The fan kicked off and on all night as the AC unit cycled. I adjusted the settings trying to get the fan to stay on constantly instead of cycling with the AC compressor, but I was unsuccessful. So it startled me awake every time it turned off or on. I really wish I could have just kept it on "fan" all night to hide outside noise, but it just wouldn't.
There is no elevator; you must climb stairs to get to the second floor. Not a big deal if you are young and healthy, but I am not. Carrying my heavy bag while climbing a flight of stairs was an unexpected chore.
Am I unhappy that I chose this hotel? No.
Would I do it again? Not sure.
But I think people who don't mind stairs and aren't picky about AC fan settings will be happy enough with this hotel."
"Hotel overall seemed brand new. There was plenty of cleaning staff. Room was well stocked with towels and all the things to make you feel at home. Nice soap provided also. Front desk staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Parking was free and easy. Kitchenette was well stocked also. Good restaurants nearby. The town seems like a friendly place. Cracker Barrel in walking distance. I would def stay again at this location."
"Pool was locked and green. No breakfast available at 8:30 am when it was supposed to be available until 9:30am. Closet in room locked so unable to hang clothes. Shampoo watered down. Outlets loose so hair dryer wouldn't stay plugged. Front desk workers left note at front desk that they would be back in 5 minutes...for 3 whole days. They were sitting outside! Only partial roll of toilet paper in room without backup roll. Awful experience!
