"Room was much better than I expected. It’s been updated recently. Carpet in rooms is still dated. Unfortunately the bar was closed for renovations so we couldn’t experience the full value of staying over a pub. We were notified ahead of time."

"There was a large party downstairs (floor below) on the Saturday night we stayed there. Music from DJ was very loud and pounding/felt in our room until after midnight preventing sleep. The Restaurant was unavailable due to the party. I wouldn’t recommend booking a room on this property when the downstairs facilities are booked in this way."

"All round it was excellent. Great choice and quality for breakfast. Lovely staff. And if you stay here spend a couple of hours in the bar - the atmosphere is great and the decoration with the nautical theme is fantastic."
