"Loved our stay at 34 Guesthouse, we were visiting for a wedding nearby and the room was lovely, curated to the smallest detail, clean and cosy. The staff was very communicative and kind. I'd like to go back and see another room - they are all tastefully themed based on different Portuguese regions. Highly reccommend."

"This is an awesome place to stop for a vacation very close to the beach (2 minutes by car or 15 minutes jogging). The kitchen has plenty of pots and utensils, a gas stove and a fridge. You may also make new friends cause there might be other people renting other rooms. There are many restaurants around and a superstore. We'll stop there again on our next trip to Portugal. "

"We had a lovely stay here. Beds were comfortable, air conditioning was nice, and enough room for a family of 4. Separate room with bunk beds for the kids (although the top bunk bed did get warm, but we were here in July). The only other downside was there is not a lot of natural light…good for sleeping though! We were very close to Pink Street, but our room was on the opposite side, so was nice and quiet. We would stay here again! "

"The staff was super friendly and made some great recommendations for us for dining. I have to say after reading some of the bad reviews I was a bit worried about staying there. However, the room was quiet and all the staff including cleaning staff were lovely people. I would stay here again as it is the perfect location for Lisbon. Next door is a great fado restaurant. It’s across the street from the St George Cadethral and 5’minites from the castle. "

"Beautifully restored old Palace with 3 outside terraces to relax at & a pool. Staff is exceptionally accommodating & friendly. Stairs, no elevator. Will definitely return, a great find in Lisbon."
