Although there was construction going on, the street that the hotel is on seemed pretty chill, while being just one block from esplanadi. "The staff are the best. Helpful, friendly, courteous without resorting to bowing and scraping. The rooms are wonderful, and the bar is a buzzy window into the world of the movers and shakers of hip Helsinki. The Kamp ain't like the Ritz.....the Ritz is like the Kamp!"

"This is an amazing hotel, every detail has been taken care of and the staff were all very professional, friendly and expert. The staff were able to provide really useful insight into local attractions etc. Breakfast was fabulous with a great range of hot and cold food, all with very high-quality ingredients. "Room was giant, clean and very comfortable. Very good breakfast. The gym is in the basement and pretty good for a hotel gym. Staff were superb - an item I had forgotten in the room on checkout day was waiting for me at the front desk when I came to collect my bag."

"We really enjoyed our stay in this perfectly located hotel. It was very comforting and helpful to have the WhatsApp communication throughout our stay. The room was clean and compact, everything we needed was available to us. Apart from the room being slightly too warm (perhaps we couldn’t figure out the HVAC system) everything was in great condition. The price point was excellent and it was perfect for a weekend stay. Highly recommend for a few nights in Helsinki."
