Very comfortable stay

The front desk staff was very friendly and efficient. The room was very nice with comfortable bed and pillow. The breakfast was excellent, I especially loved the red velvet cake.

Off the main streets and away from crowd, yet Kamppi is reachable in 12mins. At the reception you have friendly staffs like Simon! He is a handsome, sociable and helpful guy!

Very centrally located Hotel belonging to a reputed global hotel chain. Room was good but lacked some proper cleaning. Carpet was dusty. There was dust in bathroom too. Breakfast was good and staff very polite. Very close to central station and other market places

Almost top notch!

Short visit in Helsinki wednesday-thursday, helpful and nice staff. Clean room, fresh and tasty breakfast. One minus is that my room faced a playground so it was quite noicy for an early night. Could leave my bag in the luggage room after checking out. In the same block were a tasty italian restaurant and a Fazer café.

Great Hotel

In an excellent location, the Radisson Red was a very well equipped hotel. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was excellent and the breakfast was superb. We were really impressed with the helpful.and friendly staff too. We would definitely book again if we return to Helsinki.

We had the superior king room and it was truly lovely. Stunning garden views and a really comfortable bed! We did have a minor electrical issue in the room (a faulty kettle shorting some outlets), but the staff were very proactive in getting it fixed. The staff really are very lovely and helpful which made the stay so enjoyable. One downside were the mains we got in the restaurant. The starter was lovely but the salmon and schnitzel was really average. Perfect parkside location a short walk to town.

Amazing stay. Loved the hotel.

Breakfast is top notch. The location is perfect to get to the train station for trips up to the article circle. They start early and you can walk to the train in 10 mins. Sauna and gym in the basement are great. Can’t wait to stay again when I’m back in Helsinki.

This hotel is quite nice. If it had properly functioning air conditioning, I'd give it five stars. It seemed to work, but wouldn't go past 20C and the room was always too hot. The decor is a little cheesy and cheap looking, but it stands out and makes the hotel interesting. The staff is lovely. The room has a nice coffeemaker and some tea, the bathroom has a toiletry kit, showed cap and a hairdryer. Sadly, no matter how hard I tried to avoid it, the floor outside the shower would flood, so the shower door design needs some rethinking or proper sealing. The breakfast was the best part. The location being close to the train station and main attractions, while hidden away and adjescent to a park was a very nice plus!

Good hotel, helpful staff (double checked info on trains as didn't seem right to them, for example. Facilities I used were good. My only gripes - mattress a bit soft for my tastes, and there were no drawers for clothes. Lots of hanging space, but not everything gets hung up.

I stayed at Radisson Red Helsinki in September 2024.I can recommend highly. Perfect location, 5 minutes from railway station, very close to city centre, Museums, Oodi Library, shopping possibilities. I had a standard room, quite spacious, smart TV with screencasting. Breakfast buffet very good, good seating. Staff friendly. All in all, I would definitely book this hotel again for a stay in Helsinki. 5 stars from me.
