Allas-les-Mines hotels from RM214

"Lovely old property close to towns in the scenic Dordogne. A car is essential. We stayed in the old castle which was charming. Excellent restaurant - be sure to book ahead."

"This is a beautiful hotel with a beautiful spa area."

"Nice motel with easy parking, 6km drive from Sarlat and very convenient to drive around the Dordogne valley. Easy access to Many attractions. Clean and comfortable, fair price. We stayed for 2 nights . "

"Tiny room for three, but highly functional if used for the basics. Neat details and exceptionally clean! The staff was great and breakfast was flawless! Parking is super convenient."

"Somewhat mixed feelings. We arrived and the budget room we had booked was tiny and had no draw space to put clothes and only a rail to hang things. We requested a larger room and got one at an extra cost which was fine. The location was stunning over looking a field of sunflowers (its a shame they had gone past their best. We chose the hotel as it was out of the town but had a restaurant, unfortunately it was not open on the night we arrived (Friday night!) so we had to walk the busy road...

"Try the foie gras at the restaurant-fabulous! Breakfasts were delicious as well."

"Very cozy property with a wonderful host and delicious food."

"Spotless room and great location."

"This place was absolutely wonderful. Clean and comfortable, beautiful surroundings and our hosts couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. Great breakfast, too. Close to many villages as well as Sarlat, without being in the thick of the city. Would definitely stay there again if I return."

"Beautiful location overlooking Sarlat valley. Peaceful property and exquisite restaurant. Very nice staff and well-maintained hotel. Very quick access to Sarlat town."

"Host was adorable. Our 1 room was tight for 5 adults."

"Tranquil, relaxing and off the beaten track, with unexpected restaurant too."

"Absolutely stunning place!"

"Central location to explore the area. Nice little town. "

"Friendly and accommodating staff. Nice rooms and good restaurant. All in the heart of the Dordogne region."

"Small but friendly hotel in the centre of a medieval village. Set in a very narrow street yet unaffected by noise, while the room did not enjoy a view per se, opening the Juliet balcony allowed you a great insight into the heart of French village life. The room was well appointed, scrupulously cleaned and maintained.Muriel the owner/manager was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed for four nights and would recommend it to anyone. Parking was in a free public car park three minutes walk...

"Fair price, and great location "

"This chamber d’hotes is situated on a plateau above Sarlat, and has magnificent 360 degree views. The owners and hosts are very helpful and provide a lovely continental breakfast to start the day."

"It was perfect. The owners were wonderful, and Sarlat was our favorite place to visit."

"Kind courteous and accommodating host and hostess. A beautiful chateau in lovely surroundings. The local area and restaurants deserve further investigation. As recommended by our hostess- Restaurant Petite Tonnelle definitely worth a visit. 5 stars. Thank you"
