"Staff very welcoming at all times of the day, simple check in, great location, nice breakfast"

"The snacks in the reception are ALL high in sugar. To use the hairdryer it needs to be pressed down at all times which is very frustrating. A simple on and off switch much more practical and makes it easier to use for people with joint issues. Shampoo is kindly supplied maybe it would be possible to supply a little conditioner!? "Recently thoroughly enjoyed a two night stay at The Old Vicarage, having visited in Sept 2025, I immediately booked again for Feb 2026. Once again the location was idyllic, our room and shared kitchen were excellent. The owners Gerry & Patricia were fabulous hosts, the dogs Frank & Elsa were very welcoming and the kitten Jennifer was lovely.
