"The homestay is situated right on the main road up to Alishan, had comfortable rooms and delicious fresh breakfast. The best part, though, was the owners Dany and Dora who got in touch a few days before our stay with information regarding getting there and made arrangements accordingly. If you are going by public transport, they offer to pick you up too! Dora was extremely helpful and helped me book my bus tickets to Taipei as the website was in Chinese. "The property itself is great. Building is almost weirdly pristine. The area is somewhat inconvenient. Jiayi is a rural town in the end and there is a distinct lack of sidewalks. Combined with the frantic scooter traffic and walking around with luggage can feel sketchy. "
