The property itself needs to be better taken care of from the outside of the building to the Un manicured grass- The bathroom or shower tiles need to be cleaned or updated a lot better than it is- My room was clean. "So, we booked this hotel because of the location near Isola Bella. Hotel is not updated, does not have parking, although there is paid parking lot adjacent but not connected to property and only open 8:30am to 7:00pm. Cars/motorcycles noise all day/night, and very limited parking to even get your luggage on and off, your car or taxi, and no walkway to walk to funicular/beach: you have to walk in the street with cars/motorcycles speeding by your side. For me it was stressful. Funicular to the nice Corso Umberto Street is 5 blocks away and costs $8 euros each way. All that said, if you booked any sea view room, from your balcony you have one of the best views of Isola Bella island and the hotel was walking distance to the beach. We ended up staying another night in Taormina, but we moved to a great hotel near Corso Umberto street with another great view but near restaurants, shopping, splendid views and attractions."

"The hotel was new and modern. Had all the amenities. A draw back was a very expensive taxi ride to Taormino and back again. The area was not really in a great walkable area although we did walk to a nearby beach about a mile away or so. The hotel did not have a beach or a beach shuttle which I thought I read they did. Disappointing. The beach club we went to had beds and umbrellas at a cost of course. The hotel rep said theirs was closed but all the others were still open. Not sure what that was about."
