This hotel is in the middle of nowhere with ants in the bathroom. I needed a room for 1 night wouldn't want to stay any longer without a car.

Very clean tidy hotel. Very relaxing and quiet with a good pool options. Immaculate and modern bar area with a good range of drinks. Cocktails were very nice and fresh. Photos don’t actually do the place justice. Would stay again for sure

I am never a complainer but please read the points below before booking here: 1. Terrible location: The location of this hotel is legit close to nothing at all so be prepared to spend a lot of money on Ubers and taxis. Also to get to your room it’s like a 10 min walk from reception going through the crystal maze. 2. Unfriendly staff: The reception and kitchen staff are very unfriendly I went to go ask for cutlery and the man chased me out the restaurant telling me I have to pay for some food to use the cutlery. 3. Hygiene: Upon entering all the towels were dirty they had makeup on them and there were ants crawling around on the floor in the room. Our bed was also broken and the fridge was not working. After telling the staff about this they told us to come the following day at 9am to check if any different rooms were available and there was none. The pictures on here also look nothing like the hotel I would never even tell my worst enemy to stay here

the staff where incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. the pool was lovely. breakfast buffet was great. its for sure out of the way of, but it was quiet and the hotel has a free bus and local area has a free bus that picks you up down the road outside a Lidl. really enjoyed the stay. would go back again.

The pool area was really nice and looked modern. However, the rest of the hotel needs updating, including new beds. We booked our room with one double bed and and a pull out couch for our 4 years old son. When we arrived, there was two single beds pulled together and one single folding bed with very tired mattresses on top. For adults to sleep in a"double" bed was impossible without spliting in the middle.. So our little one slep with me whilst my partner on that folding bed!!poor partner slept on a that thing whilst paying , €700 for 6 nights! Electricity needs updating as out bed side ligjtening was connected through extension lead, one light cable was rubbing against the bed for so ling that a protective layer was gone, a bit extreme I would say... Might end up in serious accident if not fixed. In general hotel was clean, butbwould not choose it again as we felt that it is most focussed on Spanish and local visitors, staff (morning shift) did not speak English. My english is third language, but felt that staff should be more trained to serve breakfast as each morning was a little surprice what coffee we gonna get.. Parking was really easy as you can park right outside your room in a shade. In the end, we left disappointed... The money we paid was not worth for the services we received...

Overall good, only thing is that it is quite a way from the beach, a 20 minute walk, didn't worry me but might others. Food good and plentiful, with good standard of cleanliness throughout.

The hotel is very nice but my stay in the villa complex was disappointing because the wi-fi didn't work and had to keep going up to reception area to get a signal.

Great stay in the Algarve
Lovely hotel, spacious and comfortable rooms and nice selection for breakfast. Great they offer a free shuttle but would have been nice to have a few more times on there.

No clean bedroom, poor higiene special the bathroom. Ants for every where I could sleep well with that ants on the walk and bed! No glass in the bedroom and simple bottle of water for some medication as I need every night, the staffs was nice specially the lady of the reception but cleaning service was good enough fly in the shower room the drain was blocked never change the bed or pillows, the bedroom 112 is next to the laundry that is horrible noise from the cleaners coming to the bedroom, the buffet for dinner no variety, I can’t recommend this hotel for anyone!!! May the administration of the hotel isn’t good enough! Only the staffs from the bar reception and cleaner are lovely!!!! But the service offered by the hotel administration isn’t the great for 3 stars!

All staff were so friendly and accomodating, the main pool was lovely. Rooms were a little dated and although I appreciate it is a 3 star hotel the wardrobe doors didn't work properly, we woke on the morning of departure with no cold water and also weren't left any toilet paper so had to go to reception to use the bathroom, this made our departure a bit stressful as we had to leave for the airport early. Overall we were most impressed with the wonderful staff at Pinhal Do Sol

Reception staff friendly and helpful. Room basic, no kettle, bathroom had no hooks to hang clothes and bad gutter smell in bathroom. Told I have to pay for hire of kettle. Rooms could do with new plastering and paint. Road and walkway to rooms need tarmac renovation. Breakfast good and variety. You can go back for more. Had 2 dinners but meat and chicken not cooked properly. Got shouted at by owner's fat man friend for haven't 2 small plates to eat our rolls in the garden. Reported him to reception who agreehe should not have spoken to me in that way. No local bus route. Hotel free bus takes you to two nearby towns only and pickup at appointed time. If you miss that you take a taxi.

Staff were friendly. Shuttle service to town/beach was excellent. Property is kept in pristine condition. Location in country provides a nice contrast to the beach. Plenty of excursions available. Local bus to Faro shopping centre can be picked up from bus station

For what you pay you cannot ask for more.The Hotel has a range of options ranging from B&B,half board,full board to all inclusive.When we first went in 2008 it was only evening meals now they have lunches instead of snacks.Primarily they cater for full board or all inclusive but unless you drink full board is the best option. For those without transport on B&B only, evening dinner purchased as an extra at the premises would cost Euro 12.99 but save Euro 1.00 on purchasing 3 or more meals at reception. I recommend you ask for a superior room as they contain a fridge and kettle,especially for those that do not have transport or are not on all inclusive or full board. The Hotel itself is situated in a quiet area with lawned gardens and a pond with masses of bird life and at certain times of the year the frogs are massed in the pond.The bedrooms are a good size and the showers are roomy service is good and reception will assist you in all your requests, A free courtesy bus is supplied 4 times a day to take you and pick you up to Villamoura and Quarteira centre (and the beach)only 6 minutes away that has a beautiful sandy beach and long promenade with plenty of shops along the sea front where you can buy clothing,shoes and all manner of things especially at the chinese bazzar type shops together with bars,cafe's and restaurants.The courtesy bus continues on to Villamoura which has a Marina which is surrounded by cafe,bars and restaurants and

For the reasonable price of the hotel and the location,bedroom size and facilities you cannot get better.There is a free transfer bus about 5/7 minutes (4 times a day) to the beaches of Quarteira (with a long promenade and sandy beach) and to Villamoura with a lovely marina full of cafes,bars and restaurants.The Hotel itself is set in a quiet area with a pool,Bar and Restaurant and lawned gardens and a pond

Good Hotel
Good hotel, a little remote but their shuttle service to Vilamoura and Quarteira is good and reliable. Taxi €6 into the town good service in the town plenty of choice

Poor location
Arrived 2am. Directed 300m down the car park to my room ..Nothing to drink eat .. Back 300m to reception/ restaurant. 4 km to the beach..no bars near by. I walked over a mile each evening for a restaurant..I was only b and b ...the food was 4/10 standard.

Nice quiet hotel,great stay good facilities and nice staff .Alround Good value for money,but breakfast not worth getting up early for. Second visit and will book again.
