"The main surface areas were visibly clean and were regularly attended to throughout the day. The beds were neatly made, and overall, the space looked well-maintained. However, I did notice some areas that could use more attention, such as behind the bathroom door, the vents, and some black mold spots along the grout at the edges of the shower floor. Additionally, the top of the shower screen was quite dirty. Other than that, everything else was great"

"The Manukau Motor Lodge was a convenient place for us to stay before returning the rental car to the airport the next morning. The small pool was unheated, but the sauna (15 NZD) was a nice touch."

"Staff were lovely and super helpful and kind!! Room didn't have spare pillows or extra blankets. While there was a heat pump, it was cold night and this didn't necessary heat the room quickly or overly. Good for a quick overnight stay to crash. "

"Only criticism was check- in. As with our previous stay, there was a delay due to numbers arriving. The staff person appeared to believe there was only one guest when the reservation clearly showed 2. We had requested upgrade to lounge access and informed it would be confirmed on arrival. "Had an excellent 1 night stay at Greenlane Manor Motel for a concert! Owners gave great service, gated entry so safe parking for our vehicle. We found the room to be quiet and beds comfortable- just what you want! If our normal places were booked out we wouldn't have found this hidden gem."

"Everything was clean and tidy. The equipment and décor are a bit dated, but the service was great. I didn’t have time to try the meals, but would consider coming back next time — especially at such a reasonable price."
