The style is not fancy, But it has everything needed in a hotel room: comfortable bed; excellent shower; excellent wi fi; good sized room; desk; mirrors; good inexpensive breakfast; friendly and helpful staff. If you have an electric car, a very good fast charging station to charge your car overnight is just a 10 minute walk away. And you get all this at a very reasonable price.

This place offers a perfectly decent accommodation in a lively local pub. Our room was spotless, warm and had a comfortable bed. The check-in at the bar was quick and easy, as was the check out. But the walls are very thin and the noise of other guests is hard to ignore. There was some fault with the ventilation system in the bathroom, which meant that the steam from the shower was never drawn out and instead cigarette smoke seemed to come in. I mentioned this at check out and they promised to investigate.

Priced right for pub room
Welcoming and comfortable stay. No frills but priced accordingly. Rooms adjoining bar but remarkably well soundproofed but not same with car park. Food very good and bed good. Room had musty smell.

Very good hotel
Chose this hotel as opposed to paying hundreds more to stay in the city centre. The rooms are clean and tidy. The food in the hotel is nice. Right by the bus stop if you dont want to drive. Overall great service

Never been to Alcester before butbhad enjoyable stroll around the town before checking in (in Nov sunshine) and liked the quirky buildings in dufferent styles including one from 14th century. Nice to see some old-style shops too. Just missed the big church's Christmas narket. Lovely shoeer in room. Nice tine to cone with the Christmas decorations up in Alcester inn. Just waiting fir breakfast.

Absolutely dreadful room with smell of mould which was visible in the corner of the room. Very cold room, had to ask for a heater. Freezing cold bathroom.

Excellent value for money.
After reading some of the negative reviews, I wasn’t sure what to expect but very pleasantly surprised. The Inn isn’t beautiful on the outside but nothing wrong with the inside. We arrived early, had a lovely welcome and were able to check in straight away. The room was basic but had everything we needed and excellent value for the price. I would highly recommend for a cheap stay to visit Alcester which is a beautiful town.

Very good value for money. Good service, food was very good and priced well. Little niggles, need shelf in bathroom, bath mat needed, shower needs some maintenace although worked well and there were some stains on the counterpayne. I would stay again without doubt

Good price , the room was on the small side and the entrance on the en suite was very tight you had to squeeze passed the door handle and wash basin at the same time , door would be better opening outward. Stains on the carpet . Just needs a good freshen up

Terrible, had to pick star for review but should be 0 stars, checked in stayed for about 30minutes, bedroom stunk of damp and mould to the point you couldn't breathe properly, room dirty, bed felt like it would collapse at any moment, shower stained, dusty room , should not be allowed to offer this accommodation , had to book alternative accommodation, avoid this place

Very basic.
The pictures on the internet were not anything like what we found . A musty smell in the room, very basic facilities we would not recommend this to anyone.

A nice place to stay
Nice friendly staff on arrival. Room was spacious with enough storage and looked pleasant. However, there was staining on the carpet and a crack in the shower tray - these didn't impact on my stay overall but just left me feeling like the room was a little bit shabby and could have done with a bit of a refurb. It would have been really useful to have the wifi code available in the room. Some teaspoons and a few more coathangers would have been appreciated aswell. A comfortable night's sleep. I was slightly worried it would be noisy due to it being a pub but I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. Overall, a nice place to stay.

A great alternative to budget chain hotels
Good value fof money. Friendly and helpful staff. Room nd clean and well maintained. Whole hotel appeared to have been refurbished recently. Evening meal and breakfast was good and home made.

Hidden Gem
Just had a lovely couple of night here. Check in was very easy and the room was basic but clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly & Adam could not do enough for us, he is a credit to the place :) We ate here both nights and had no complaints, food was good, breakfast was lovely too. All in all a good visit and would not hesitate to stay here again when visiting this area. Thank you
