"Staff gave a courtesy call before we arrived, very appreciative for that! Room was clean, AC blew cold."

"Room 14 at the end of the row. Didn't meet any staff. You let yourself in using a key pad and your phone number. Great to be able to park outside your door at this modern nearly renovated motel. Room was clean with comfy bed, great size bathroom and amazing ac. Didn' t find any ice for our complimentary water. If we stay again or for more than the one-night we would choose a room with a fridge. Great that we could just walk over to the restaurant for dinner. High recommend this place."

"Upon arrival, there wasn’t anyone at the desk, when she finally made her way to the desk, check in was fine, not great, not really friendly but not rude either. Not a lot of parking since there were multiple utility trucks taking up the front parking. Due to the data centers they have inflated the room prices for subpar rooms, bathroom was dirty, found tape on the shower wall… bed was fine but top blanket was dirty with visible stains on it. With the outside lights rooms are bright as day when...

"I'm sure ICE and the DEA know about this property. It's not family friendly. Someone actually had their dog locked in their room the whole time we were there. What a dump."

"Excellent hotel. Best in Abilene, and we looked at several options while in town. Clean hotel, clean rooms, easy parking, helpful staff. Everything in Abilene is overpriced right now due to multiple AI data center build outs. However this hotel came closest to validating the sky high Abilene room rates. Would highly recommend."

"I use Holiday Inn Express and Suites whenever I travel between CA and NC twice each year. I really do not like leaving negative reviews, but Abilene is consistently higher priced than the other cities I stay in (Tucson and Tuscaloosa) and the hotel is never as clean and up to date. You deserve to know if you are planning a stay here."

"The rooms were basically damaged and had drywall patches but not painted, bugs on beds and all advertised tvs and such were not in the room as stated. Staff was not very helpful"

"Room door was just “unlocked”, as were window. As a single woman that was unnerving. Need to put something on the floor under the beds legs so it doesn’t just move around the room. The room was clean which was nice. I didn’t understand why an envelope for tipping the housekeeper was in the room as the rules said to clean all dishes, empty refrigerator and throw away garbage in outside bin."

"Way too ran down. I feel like it was price gauging for the data centers being built. Room was open before I got to use my key to open it. The bathroom door was had both inside and outside door panels drilled together instead of replaced. Mold growing on top of shower, no working vent in the shower."

"The room was clean and had no bugs. But when we arrived, our room had no soap and only one thin bath towel. The door was warped, and the deadbolt was very difficult to latch. The AC unit was noisy and looked like coffee had spilled on it. To top things off, it is hard to get into because it faces a one way street and the neighborhood is not great. My wife did not feel safe."
