I travel often and always pay Expedia at the time of booking—and until now, I’ve never encountered any issues. This was the first time a property contacted me twice after our stay regarding payment concerns. I truly believe this is something that should be addressed directly between Expedia and the property, and not something the guest should have to resolve post-checkout. That said,I want to emphasize that the staff on site were kind and accommodating. Although our check-in took significantly longer than any hotel check-in we’ve experienced, the team eventually noticed how exhausted my kids and I were after a long drive and made the effort to get us into our room as soon as they could. Their courtesy did not go unnoticed, and we appreciated that gesture. However, 5 days later, my card was charged again by the property for a night stay without prior notice despite my already paid booking. I truly hope this was an isolated incident and not a recurring issue. Overall, the property was decent if you're looking for a simple overnight stay. The continental breakfast was light and limited, which we expected given the budget-friendly price point. It would be great to see a few small improvements, perhaps an extra item or two for breakfast and ensuring that essentials like the hot water dispenser are always filled and ready for guests. With a few operational adjustments, this property has the potential to deliver a smoother experience for future guests.
