"The room was clean and well equiped. On a par with most mid priced Hilton or Marriot properties. Plenty of towels and equiped with special towels for the wife to use for make-up removal. She appreciated that. The only thing we found laking was the bed. It seemed a little mushy and was hard to get comfortable on. Otherwise, you couldn't have asked for a much better hotel room. "Room was dirty, toilet seat needs replaced, was hanging off the toilet, very little counter space in bathroom. Very thin walls, you could hear the person next door talking. You can tell this hotel was built very cheaply and poorly. Many repairs were poorly fixed, things put in backwards. Our toilet was put in at an angle causing you to be right against the counter. Thankfully the sheets were clean. Would not recommend."

"Check in easy and clerk gave excellent dining recommendations. Room floor not as clean as should have been. Previous guest left food in the refrigerator. Breakfast adequate. A/C would not allow continuous fan. Still a good value. "

"I was so pleased with my stay at the Wyndham on Lake Guntersville! The front desk was lovely and let me check in early. My room was clean, and the bed and the pillows were so comfortable! To top it off, breakfast was included, and it was hearty and delicious! Will definitely stay there again! "
