"We go the hotel around 6pm, they first sent us to a dirty room. It was completely unmade as if guests have just left. We went back to the receptionist desk and she told us that she couldn’t find us a room, we sat there and waited about 20 to 30 minutes as she tried to find us a room. She said she can only find us a king bed, so we had to deal with it. We went up to the new room and it turned out to be two queen beds. Which was beneficial to us, but still upsetting that she didn’t even know the rooms. When my husband went to shower, the water was not draining from the tub. I called the front office immediately, she told me that there was no one there tonight so we would have to wait until the morning. Mind you we had a concert that night and traveled to Phoenix for this concert. As my husband went to turn off the shower, the shower knob completely fell off. The next morning I spoke with the manager and he was very kind! But it does not excuse the experience we got at this hotel."

"I would not stay here again. I thought Red Roof Inn PLUS would be an improvement on a motel but it was not. First the neighborhood was sketchy. Homeless people across the street in a vacant lot (they did have a night security guard.) There was no where to go to eat within walking distance. No mini fridge. No microwave. The towels were paper thin. What appeared to be black mold in the a/c unit. Paint peeling on the bathroom walls. Paint scratched off in the room. You get what you pay for so I shouldn't complain. At least I had a bed to sleep in."
