"Air conditioning was a life saver. The rooms were great for price. Could maybe upgrade the mattress as some of the bunk bed mattresses were a bit thin, otherwise adequate enough for short stays. But overall it was a great place to stay. "

"Self contained, ground level, 1 bedroom apartment with water views. Staff were fantastic and the check in process was easy and efficient. Apartment was clean and well presented. The resort area is well maintained and the pool area was nice. Located near the Marina and out of the very busy and touristy heart of Airlie made for a relaxed and comfortable stay."

"Our six night stay in October 2025 was just wonderful. Steve and Helen were so friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and bedding very comfortable. One highlight was the balcony which added to the relaxation. The motel's location was excellent, adjacent to the main shopping and restaurant street and going through to the Lagoon using a private access gate. The lagoon pool and surrounds were lovely and again another highlight. Cheers Gill and Bill."

"We had an amazing stay at Waters Edge! The location was perfect, an easy 4 min walk (walking with young children) to the shops, grocery store and about 8 minutes to the lagoon. The resort is at the bottom of a steep hill and we were thankful we didn’t have to walk up it! The folks at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The pools were beautiful and thoroughly enjoyed! "
