"Zeer vriendelijke gastheer"

"It was a good place to stay for a few days. It’s right in the middle of center city and you can walk to the main sites and restaurants. It’s a historical building that used to be a pharmacy so that’s cool. However I would not stay there longer than a couple days and next time we plan to stay in somewhere that offers in room refrigerator and not historical. There is a tiny common kitchen but it’s not convenient. It’s also set up for you to enter and exit on your own with no front desk person...

"Absolument parfait, beau, propre, confortable, près de la ville où on peut se rendre à pied facilement. Le seul bémol était la grandeur de la chambre, un peu à l'étroit, mais parfait pour 1 nuit et nos besoins."

"We loved our stay at Vila Julieta Guesthouse in Coimbra and highly recommend it. Jonah and Sonia were wonderful hosts and very responsive to any questions we had before and during our visit. We also appreciated their recommendations for restaurants and sites to see. "

"Charming beautifully decorated cottages. We enjoyed fire place, deck, library, and pottery workshop. There is a delicious healthy breakfast served in the cafe every morning. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. We hiked to a nearby village. We will definitely come back. "

"The double room/single use was comically small but great value for the location. The shuttle bus stop from coimbra-b is literally around the corner, most of the local bus stops are within a block of the hotel, and the historic city area and university is just uphill. Housekeeping was good, the A/c worked well, and the front desk staff were good."

"Beautiful B&B in the country with beautiful horses, sheep and goats on the property. They offer riding lessons and walks too. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. This is a basic accommodation but very comfortable and clean. The restaurant was excellent as well. Breakfast was self-serve continental and adequate. Will definitely be back. ❤️"

"This hotel was very clean and modern. The rooms were generous but not large - absolutely sufficient for two people for a couple of days. We were happy that the pool was open, but woud have beenhappier ifit had been heated even a little bit. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was very good and quite extensive, with enough options for picky eaters. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay again."

"Convenient, clean, friendly staffs, great communication, Daniel and staffs were awesome. Parking, yes, parking, corner next to the Bridge and Joao is 530 euros per night ( municipal parking) Restaurants are just below, now if you are using the water is makes noises and I recommend that taking a showers or anything do it before everyone is asleep. No refrigerator, so if you have left over to bring after dinner. No chance."

"We loved these apartments. Very well appointed and spacious. Right in the middle of Coimbra’s key attractions. Wish we had spent more time. The little cards with recommendations for the city were special. The staff at the Oslo hotel (where you do check in) was super nice and attentive. Highly recommended."

"First ever visit to a schist village, and it was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable, AC was excellent, kitchen was very well equipped. Breakfast is made to order (pre-ordered) every morning and is excellent. Staff is attentive and accomodating, we found our room made up while we were at breakfast. A really special detail. "

"Everything about the guest house was great, except for the mattress. It was a bit uncomfortable, but okay for a two night stay. Directions for arriving, dropping off luggage and parking were made clear once we had arrived, but prior notice via email would have been helpful. Good restaurants just across the street. We would stay here again."

"The staff was immediately friendly and kind. They helped us upgrade our room, leave our bags before check-in, and gave us a tour of the guesthouse. The kitchen was clean and big. The room was beautiful and comfortable. There is no soap or shampoo but it was okay as we brought our own. "
