Unfortunately, the air-conditioning did not work, and the heating was on all the time so nights were unbearably hot and stuffy in the room, even with the window open. This was a real shame as we really did not sleep well. I asked reception about this and received a shrug in response. Only one pillow each, and we ran out of toilet roll on the third night as no spares were given. A kettle in the room would’ve been nice to be able to make a cup of tea as one cannot carry one all the way up from The common room, which is in a basement. "
