"The hotel itself is beautiful, well-maintained and spotlessly clean. There is a sense of space and lots of little areas you can take yourself off to for a little bit of privacy. Everyone who works at the hotel is friendly and authentic and without a doubt it is the Team at the Irida which made our stay that extra little bit specials. "We arrived late and the key had been left for us but unfortunately we did not see it and pressed the bell. Despite waking the owners at 1am, we were forgiven for our mistake and the check in process went smoothly. The hotel is high up on the outskirts of Agia Pelagia with amazing views. "Sirena apartments are located close to the beach. We were in one of the new apartments with sea views. A perfect location for a beach holiday at the lovely Agia Pelagia.; the apartments are adequate for the preparation of basic meals and for sleeping. They are cleaned daily. However they are very small with tiny bathrooms. Originally told the internet was weak, we found there was no wifi access in the rooms. Many patrons were seated in the outdoor area late at night to get internet signal. A...

"Wish I could have rated my stay at the Diouskouri. Our reservation was made over two days in advance of our attempted check in. After many phone calls to the manager who was somewhere in Iraklion while we were in the hotel lobby, we were told to check in at the hotel down the road. The substitute hotel lacked hot water, a decent internet connection and one of the main ceiling lights didn't work. The substitute hotel was not a three star but we paid three star rates. Not a repeat."
