"We had a lovely stay at the Royal Mirage Hotel in Agadir and, overall, found it a great base for exploring the area. The food was good for a hotel buffet, with plenty to enjoy, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The hotel is a little dated in places, and maintenance work was ongoing on the large pool during our visit. We were also disappointed to find that the gym and private beach beds advertised as available at other hotels were not available here. Check-in was easy, our room was spacious, and the beds were really comfortable. The room also had a fridge, although there were no tea or coffee-making facilities. Luckily, we took our own travel kettle, so this wasn’t a problem for us. The hotel is a little dated in places, and maintenance work was ongoing on the large pool during our visit. The location is good for the beach, but be aware that there are quite a lot of steps to get down to it, so it may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues or who struggles with stairs. Our biggest downside was the nightclub next door. The music was extremely loud until around 3am on Thursday and Friday nights, which made sleeping difficult. Overall a great stay"
