Holiday Inn Express Adrian by IHG
The property is old and dated. Needs updating. Beds are extremely soft which may be a problem for people with bad backs. Parking was fine. Music was blasting in the lobby over a crackly speakers.

Kasa Cadillac Square Detroit
Right in the heart of downtown Detroit. Close to everything. City is doing a ton of improvements to the area and it’s definitely in transition in a good way. Nice kitchen and unique rooms with a beautiful view. Will stay again next time I’m in the city.

The place is cheaper than anything downtown. It is clean and new. Unfortunately, there is no onsite staff (everything operates via a web portal). I had no hot water during my 2-day stay. I reported this via email and there was a prompt response, saying it had been forwarded to onsite maintenance. ...
