We had a deluxe queen bed with spa and balcony, only one arm chair and one kitchen chair in the room a little uncomfortable to sit in for the evening. Was not aware of the $180 bond money up front

Great stay
All staff were amazing. House keeping staff were more than happy to make up my room daily. My only criticism would be the tight check in hours. Aside from that Sferas is a great place to stay. It backs onto civic park which is a beautiful green space.

Won’t stay here again, the reception is only between 9am and 5pm which was not helpful when you need help the most after returning to the room at the end of the day. The cleaning was not thorough, the spa bath filter had hair trapped and looked unhygienic. The air conditioning didn’t work at all.

$180 for the bond is excessive. Room was nice but having the mini bar stocked with products from Coles and Aldi is a cheap approach and at standard mini bar prices.

Horrible drilling sound
We have stayed at Sfera three times before, so was happy to do so again. Unfortunately there was a loud drilling sound, like drilling into concrete, that went quite often, including at 5.00am. As the reception is only manned during office hours, we had no person to contact. We have family close by, so the location is great, but next time i will look for an alternative venue.

I struggled with the key locks outside and suggest directions on how to open it be explained in email. Also there was a key card in the room that was not explained rather the email said both cards were outside . Otherwise an excellent stay 😊

Too much light entering through door and electrical ‘standby’ lights at night. Bathroom door stiff and the hinges squeaky. No vent in the bathroom. Room was clean and large with 2 small corner triangular lights in the top cogeneration of the outside wall which were unreachable without a ladder. $150 bond taken as well as the room fees.

Easy place to get to and placed well in the northern part of Adelaide Had a bowls tournament at Mobury bowling club and it was a walkable distance to the club Would of loved to try the food at Sferas but couldn’t make it back in time. Close to the tee tree gully shopping centre. As we are 2 hours away from Adelaide will be staying at Sheras went we come Christmas shopping.

The room was comfortable and clean, the checkout was efficient and friendly. On the minus side I did not like the complicated way of providing credit card details in advance. I am guessing it's primarily a function venue and some guests leave a mess; but I've never before been asked for a security deposit and facsimile of driving licence and credit card. Not recommended for an average traveller!

We were disappointed that when we booked the room we weren’t informed that all of the restaurants attached would be closed the weekend we were staying and that we would need to provide a photo of our credit card and our license for a lock box to access our key to room. If we would have been informed we would have booked elsewhere - maybe that’s why we weren’t told. On the surface looked okay but once settled you could see the floor hadn’t been vacuumed for a while, and the furnishings were in very poor condition and needed steam cleaning. Very sad way to start a holiday.
