Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Very basic room but clean and comfortable bed. Close to tram route to hospital, which was a priority.
Room was Spartan but clean. Had all the basics . Could hear plumbing from other units, but bed was comfortable and location was great. Probably 3 star but great value for my single night stay.

Great friendly staff at the bar to greet us.
Bathroom floor towel dirty and hair in the shower plug hole!
The hotel was in transition with new management, but they did their best to help. After hours access was an issue as there was no night porter at that time in October 2025, so it would be worth checking about this when booking.

Disliked: Amenities
Pleasant staff. Elevator only goes to the 2nd floor. You’ll need to carry bags down if you’re on the 3rd floor. No chair, table, fridge or TV. Boil the kettle on the floor. The basin leaked and the soap dispenser was faulty.

The reception was supposed to be open till midnight but when we arrived at 10:45 the place was in darkness and the front door was locked. Tried to ring the contact number listed but it went to voicemail. We thought we were going to spent the rainy night on the street until a gentleman arrived out of the blue and managed to find the receptionist who had knocked off early. We ended up getting our room for the night but it was an unpleasant experience!

Door lock was broken when I arrived, was not fixed
Bedding was ok no tv no milk the 240 cord for the air-conditioning was in-between the pillows ever time i turnd ova was hitting it with my head an some kind of a electric moter was cutting in an out all night outside the window that had the air-conditioning was in
Quite good for the price. I was on level 3 and the lift stops at level 2, so I had a labyrinthine walk followed by stairs to get to my room. Room had 2 single beds rather than a queen size. No TV or fridge provided, although I’m told some of the pricier rooms had them. Some street noise during the busier nights in town. One shortfall is that there is no mechanism for guests to enter the building after hours, meaning that if you take in the nightlife, it can be difficult to get back to your room. Thankfully the owner was responsive and available to open the doors as late (early?) as 5am.
A room with no television, no bedight (had to use torch on phone to move across the room after turning out the light), no hairdryer, and the bathroom shower floor is very slippery.
Disgusting! Bed had stains all over it, management tried to say it was a factory fault even though stains were on sheets and pillows. Mould in windows. Terrible customer service - booed a quad share room which we did not get had to split the our group across two rooms, thrown at end of hotel where it seemed there were no other guests around. Put in a complaint and manager refused to budge and was extremely rude and threatened to kick us out of the hotel if we didn’t like what we got. Left the hotel that night as the rooms were disgusting manager said we would get a refund but we are still waiting two weeks later!
