"One of our best stays in Italy so far! Super easy to get to from the airport, just pick up your rental car and go. We arrived after the sun had set, even in the dark it was easy to find. Absolutely lovely, just like the pictures! I will say of all the places we have been in Italy, this was the most authentic and real Italian stay. "This resort is a gem! We stumbled across it when we needed an overnight stay prior to a next day train ride. If we would have known, we would have spent at least 3 days. The owner and staff are a delight, the atmosphere and grounds and pool area are gorgeous! The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We had an amazing dinner with a Tuscan sunset and great wine! Breakfast was wonderful. We will definitely be back."

"We came for the pool, but unfortunately it was closed for construction, surrounded by very unattractive bright orange fencing. Neither the hotel’s website nor Expedia mentioned that the pool was closed, so we were very disappointed. However, the property is cute and rustic.
