"This hotel is close to downtown Catania (about 2 km walk). We were able to choose between a room downstairs or a suite upstairs. We chose the suite because it had a small kitchen and a private terrace. You have to take fairly narrow spiral staircase to get upstairs but this was not a problem for us. "Can’t fault this hotel. Very clean, staff were lovely and the pool are was wonderful. Our room wasn’t the most modern but bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Fruit at breakfast was very fresh and tasty. Short 5/10 min stroll into Taormina town. Perfect location and the bus terminal is just out the back of the hotel which is really handy. Close to the cable car to go down to Isola Bella too. We had a wonderful day and Pizzichella beach, with cheap sunbeds!"

"This is a beautiful small hotel with amazing views and friendly staff. It is situated very close to the main town (5 to 10 minute walk). The breakfast was good, with a modest selection of fresh foods and crepes made to order. The car park isn't cheap and operates via valet service (recommended as it is on a steep hill). The lunch restaurant was great - tasty pasta and refreshing drinks. The pool was warm and well maintained. We would recommend this stay."
