"We enjoyed our stay and the place was wonderful! We bought things to pack a lunch for Acadia, and it was nice there was a grocery store 2 minutes away. Being able to do a load of laundry after traveling and being hot was amazing! The place we stayed before had a washer and dryer, but we didn't want to buy a lot of detergent for one load. Also, not having us do any clean up before we left was a really nice bonus. I don't mind the small things other places ask us to do, but that you acknowledge...

"The property was very pretty and comfortable. Roomy and relaxing! The views on a clear day were gorgeous! Quiet and private, but close to town so that you can pick up necessities or eat out. Only @ 35 mins to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Only two minor issues - the step on the side deck needs better 'warning'. I knew it was there but still missed it twice because your eyes are drawn to the lake view (maybe a mat?). And there was no mat inside the guest shower so it was a bit slick....

"Loved the charm, cleanliness, decor and location. However, internet was so bad we couldn’t watch more than a few seconds of YouTube at a time. Upstairs shower had the lowest flow we’ve ever seen, even with volume turned up to maximum. Dishwasher was commercial and required many manual steps lifting basket, etc and special soap that we never found. Easier to hand wash. No laundry and outdoor light didn’t work at night so we stepped in dog pooh getting out of the car when we arrived. Beautiful...
