"This was such a beautiful cottage hotel. The food was excellent. I had the best macaroni and cheese I've ever had. The village has more shopping than you'd expect. It's definitely worth the short drive off the beaten path. And of course it's a filming location for Outlander which makes it extra special. "

"When we arrived and went to reception to check it the lady was very welcoming and professional and friendly she explained about the lodge and what was available and gave us the keys to our lodge when to the lodge it was absolutely stunning very clean fresh and perfect the hot tib was maintained each morning and all staff were availbale if we needed anything this place is the best lodge we have stayed in 100% recommended "

"Just a one night stay on our way up north . It’s an old building so no lift but full of character . I’m the carers for my brother who is traveling with me & the hotel made sure that we had rooms next to each other .
