"Overall I enjoyed my stay but the main thing that let it down was how uncomfortable the bed was. The bed also was very noisy whenever you moved and you could hear people turning over in their beds in other rooms as there’s were the same. Overall the property was clean, our sheets smelt lovely and the room & bathroom was clean however the shower head was not clean and also leaked out the bottom where it attached. The shower itself was good other than that. There are a few things that need upgrading/fixing but it’s a great location and the staff were friendly. I would stay again if it was upgraded slightly (beds) but otherwise I couldn’t do more than one night on the mattress again!"

"When the breakfast area was busy there were never quite enough tables prepared to keep up with demand. The buffet quickly ran out of items which were not replaced efficiently and without asking. On quieter days the buffet breakfast was well managed."

"Loved the large room I had and the king bed was so comfortable I slept well. There is an elevator but also stairs so lugging baggage is challenging. The breakfast buffet was fabulous! "

"We stayed in a deluxe double room, which was well presented and spacious, with a luxurious deep bath, separate shower, washbasin, and toilet. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and overall gave a good first impression. When booking, the room advertised free guest WiFi; however, although the network appeared available, it would not connect or function at all. This would not have been a major issue, but we also received no 5G reception anywhere within the hotel. This may suit guests wanting to switch off and be a little “off grid,” but it is inconvenient if you still need access to emails or other phone functions. The television also had issues, with several channels not working properly and others suffering from poor reception, causing the picture to jump and flicker throughout viewing. The PIN code entry system for the doors was a nice touch and a welcome change from key cards that often need reactivating. However, we could not see an additional internal security lock on the door, which would have provided extra reassurance overnight. There was also a noticeable gap under the door, allowing light from the hallway to enter the room during the night. Guests who prefer a dark sleeping environment may find this disruptive, though it could likely be resolved with a simple draft excluder."
