"Absolutely recommend this hotel. In great location, garden room was nice and quiet (requested a quiet room and hotel accomdated it, which really appreciated it). Bed is very comfortable (not super soft which provide a great support for my back. Duvet and bedding are also comfortable. Pillows are on the slight firm end but still okay. "Good place to stay for visiting Syracuse. It is not a hotel but rather air bnb type of accommodation. It is within an old apartment, the interior has been renovated to appropriate condition. "Fantastic hotel with great facilities and very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very tasty (and lovely to eat on the terrace overlooking the sea). Beautiful big room with a balcony right above the sea. A lovely calm atmosphere about the whole place. "We were not familiar and it took a minute to locate as the entrance is not facing the street. Once we found it, Giuliani checked us right in and set up a parking valet for us. She helped us with our luggage and showed us to our room. Beautiful building with great history. Rooms were quiet and clean. The Manager, Domenico was an absolute treat and made us feel right at home. I can’t wait to go back. Grazie Mille, Lanterne Magiche! You have earned guests for a lifetime. "

"Stayed for 2 nights. Rooms are clean and spacious. Parking lot is small but closed inside gated place. Excellent communication with very friendly staff. Easy check in/out. Place is part of/next to archaeological site & walking distance to theater. Took taxi (called by staff) to Ortigia (4 adults less than 20 Euros). Worth the visit! "
