"The property is situated near North Berwick and has beautiful gardens. The building itself is a bit tired. Our room was disappointing for the grade of hotel. Coffee facilities were basis (one packet of two pieces of shortbread to share!). The cooked breakfast was lovely but the continental selection was very poor compared to similar hotels and given that one of the main selling points of the hotel is the Chez Roux restaurant. Cleanliness not what we would have expected either - some litter...

"The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant. The equipment is sufficient except that there isn’t a washing machine. The rooms are a bit tiny.
It wouldn’t have wasted our time should the owner had told us the cabin number in advance."

"Had a lovely stay at this cottage perfect location easy to get to all the golf courses only thing that I would have a slight moan about is noise in the morning from delivery’s to shops below the stairs are really steep and the handle came off in the bathroom "
