"It is a beautiful setting. The hotel is relatively small but the villas are nicely placed and the pool and bar areas are very nice. The sea is very pleasant with a fine rocky almost sandy beach easily accessible. Sun loungers on the beach are not available but there are enough sun loungers in the surrounding spaces with a sea view so that is OK. There were no water sports eg kayaking available although the hotel next door has a couple of paddleboards you can hire. The sea swimming area is...

"Excellent hotel, very helpful and friendly staff. Definitely would stay here again. My only disappointment was the hotel spa which doesn't belong to hotel but is onsite and offer services whilst you are at pool. I booked 2 treatments and they asked for payment upfront (whilst booking you in while you are relaxing at pool). Unfortunately I went for my treatments and they only did one, claiming I hadn't got them both booked - even though I gave the receipt to spa manager and was fully paid. They...

"Was fantastic, the staff brilliant the food quality amazing. We did eat in 2 of the restaurants but the buffet was the best I’ve had for an all inclusive. I know some people have mentioned not on the beach it’s a 2min walk max from the exit of the resort where the bar is so yes a small walk to get a drink. But on the beach the hotel has its own sun beds and area. I would say only fault but understand at the restaurant not all options include and extra charge for those options they give a 30%...

"I was quite disappointed with my room as well as the service of the staff upon my arrival to Valmar Corfu. When I first entered my hotel room, I did not like the smell...it was mildewed-like and not something I could tolerate. I addressed my concern with the front desk and the lady assured me that someone would come up to inspect it but no one ended up coming. I also found small bugs in the bed, in the television converter, as well as on the small island above the mini-fridge. I ended up...

"Charming building, but our stay at this ‘5-star’ hotel was full of disappointment. Upon arrival, we were shown around the premises including the very funky bar that they seemed proud of, only the bar didn’t open at any point of our 5-night stay. The restaurant had a last-minute technical issue, so that wasn’t open either. The only food served was a continental breakfast that required no cooking. To cap it all off, the air conditioning stopped working during the third night and couldn’t be fixed...
