"We had an excellent stay at Kirishima Kokusai Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Kirishima area. We stayed in a Premier Deluxe Japanese-Western Style Room (Yukemuri View), which was exceptional and very spacious, with a beautiful outdoor lanai and a fantastic view out toward Sakurajima Island. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring.

"The room is spacious and clean, the view to the nature is fantastic. Staffs are friendly. It pays attention to culture and traditions. Love the dinner as well. One thing can be improved, the amenities can upgrade to a better shower head or hair dryer. With this level of hotel, I would expect a better quality of the amenities. "We really enjoyed staying here. The personnel were very helpful and the place was quiet and peaceful. The room was a spacious, 4-room/section place in a 120-year old cottage style, with modernized bathroom, nicely made in traditional onsen style. Better signage for the breakfast location would have been helpful. "
