"You cannot beat this location— perfect spot in the city and all of the top tourist spots are within 5-10 min walking distance. However, it felt a bit overpriced for the quality of the hotel. Dining room was closed for renovation so they provided small pastries and coffee/tea in an empty hotel room each morning instead. Staff was on top of cleaning the rooms, even if I left much later that morning, which I appreciated! Room was big, but had view of other hotel rooms. Lifts were difficult to deal...

"The hotel was your average hotel, some nicer finishings in the room however the lounge area had messy blankets and throw pillows all over. It looked like people were sleeping on them when we arrived. Our room was nice but SO hot. It felt like the sun was in our room, we had to get a fan from the cupboard that looked like it was from the 80’s. It’s the first week of April and our room was that hot I cannot imagine what the summertime is like. As I checked out, I gave the feedback to the front...

"one of the best hotel room, i have ever stayed. the lobby is nice, the room is huge and even nicer. they refill the water, but towards the end of our stay, they no longer refill the snack.
otherwise the room is nice as per picture, bonus it is just 3 mins walk from the train station, so if your journey is late at night, this hotel is just close by to the train station and royal mile."
