"Our stay at Tranquilo Lodge was an absolute dream. Sebastien and Christophe are the most amazing hosts. If you're close to Uvita, check the tide schedule and get down to the beach! Humpback whales raise their young in Marino Bellena as the waters are shallow and warm and they feel safe. Coincidentally, at low tide, the beach forms a "whale's tail" shape, and it's stunning to see. There is a National Park entrance fee, that I believe was in the $3-6 range for the day.
