"We had such a wonderful experience here. The resort is beautiful, perfectly maintained, and truly an oasis of peace and calm. Our room was delightful and very clean, with a large comfortable bed, quiet air conditioning, and a lovely bathroom with an excellent rainfall shower. The food was absolutely delicious, with plenty of choice.

"The staff was very friendly and the yoga session conducted for us in the morning is very good. The yoga instructor makes a real effort to help us learn yoga. Food was nice and the rooms were clean. Overall, it is a great place to relax and spend a weekend. I would definitely return to this hotel again. "

"Spent two nights, 3 days at this property recently while touring around at Pinnawela, Sigiriya, Dambulla and Minneriya. Great location to visit all those sites. Excellent service with a smile. Buffets were plentiful and delicious, great variety. Pool was so relaxing and lush gardens that were well kept really felt like paradise. "This is a stunning resort, with excellent service and beautiful surroundings. It's a shame that the tourist industry in Sri Lanka is suffering but everyone is very welcoming and we were grateful for the peace and quiet at anilana.
The beach bungalow we stayed in was exceptionally clean, spacious and comfortable. We had an amazing view of the ocean from our bed! Bottled water, replacement tea and coffee and room cleaning was offered twice a day. The WiFi is good throughout the resort.
