"Great hotel in a beautiful location. We only stayed one night, but could have stayed longer. The pools looked fantastic and well cleaned. We had an excellent meal, and then played pool on the table next to the bar! The hotel is trying hard to be eco, and we had a very interesting bathroom surrounded by plants in the shower, and an open air roof - covered by mesh to stop anything nasty getting in! We watched a fantastic sunset whilst drinking cocktails. Very memorable. Staff were lovely."

"Spent two nights, 3 days at this property recently while touring around at Pinnawela, Sigiriya, Dambulla and Minneriya. Great location to visit all those sites. Excellent service with a smile. Buffets were plentiful and delicious, great variety. Pool was so relaxing and lush gardens that were well kept really felt like paradise. "Beautiful property with friendly and helpful staff. The food is delicious with options for all visitors. Gym had good equipment and the pool and grounds are lovely. My only suggestion would be to have an iron in all rooms it would have been helpful with my wrinkled dresses."

"A beautiful resort complex, the mini homes are spacious and comfortable. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The full board option was a good choice with breakfast lunch and dinner being a broad array for the buffet with differing choices each day with some staples remaining consistent. The chefs were kind enough to do hoppers in a way that I wanted that was fresh. The pool was closed at the time for maintenance, however you could use the sister hotel’s pool which was a 10min walk away....

"The garden around the property was tranquil. It was a lovely, peaceful area to relax in. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. The host and his family couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. They made our stay a real pleasure."

"We enjoyed our stay at Kay Jay Palms. The rooms were spacious and very clean. A/C and fan combo kept the rooms cool in the day and night. We had breakfast and dinners there. The portion sizes were much more than we could finish. It is 5 min drive from Pasikuda beach which was very convenient for beach days in the morning and the ability to change before other activities in the afternoon. Overall a great experience. "

"We spent 5 nights at Sun Siyam and we had a wonderful time, including a fantastic Nee Year’s Eve party. The staff were fantastic and so friendly. They looked after our little boy like royalty! We spent time on the beach and round the pool. The food was excellent with plenty of choices including lots of amazing vegetable dishes. "Nice beds, wonderful architecture and large in the house/rooms. The most beautiful room we had on Sri Lanka. The food was amazing, we can really recommend this. The best ever tuna steak and a lot more. We spend 4 wonderful nights at Taru Villa Habarana. Nice pool as well. They have it all! So much to see in the surroundings. We can really recommend this hotel!!"
