"I don’t recommend this hotel. Our room had zero ventilation so it got very hot and stuffy at night. There was no fan or ac so it was hard to sleep. There was zero housekeeping and when I needed items like toilet paper or a towel I had to find someone at the front desk - most of the time staff was no where to be found and the front desk was unattended. "We stayed at Monteverde Lodge for 3 nights and booked tours with them. The Concierge services were really helpful in organising transport to and from the hotel as well as tours. We started with a night tour and the following days went to Sky Park and Monteverde Cloud Forest. The transport was efficient. The Guides were fantastic- very knowledgable, friendly and were able to show us a wide range of wild life, flora and fauna. The spoke excellent English. The staff at the hotel were equally friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with very comfortable bed. The meals were delicious. We would highly recommend staying at the Lodge. It was easy to walk to the shops and restaurants in nearby Santa Helena"
