"The staff was wonderful, kind and always eager to help. The elevators smelled strongly of food the entire stay. The fourth floor smelled musty as soon as you exited the elevator. The room was nice and organized well but the bathroom shower was moldy. I hate leaving anything negative since the staff was above and beyond amazing, but the condition of the shower was disgusting and the moldy smell was off-putting. I'd have forgiven the elevator smell if the other two hadn't be an issue."

Staff is familiar with the visa process and have a good grasp of Hindi/English, so communication was easy and straightforward. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Though the resort is on the beach the waters could be rough but the pool at the resort is absolutely hugh so it was like swimming at a beach. Close to the beach meant one could take quiet walks on the beach. Resort is just near Five Rathas and energetic tourists can walk to most of the sites as traffic is horrendous and grid locked. Amenities are great, rooms modern, clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is fantastic. Great choice of menu food day round. Buffet dinner at reasonable cost is fantastic. Staff, especially Kumar at the reception desk, was very helpful and attentive to guests needs. Room service is prompt. Kumar also organised transport for us to get to the airport. All in all wonderful, relaxing experience amongst bustling Mahabalipuram! Lovely quiet gardens to wander around as well."
