"Check in and out was smooth, hotel is lovely with comfy beds. Got upgraded to a premium room which was greatly appreciated as we were staying before our going on our honeymoon next morning. Would definitely stay again. Location is great as well"

"Lovely hotel in a great area. 15 mins walk from the station. Lovely spacious room, exceptionally clean and could hear no noise from other guests. My only complaint is the trains running by constantly as railway bridge was right next to hotel. But usually so tired from our activities they didn’t bother us that much. Not a fan of the cooked breakfast, lukewarm most days and not topped up enough. Cold options were fine. Restaurant staff very pleasant and helpful, however reception staff did...

"I wanted to like this hotel, but unfortunately, I didn't enjoy my stay.
My room was at the front of the building and had single-glazed windows, which meant I could hear almost everything happening outside. Buses idled beneath the window, people shouted in the street, and the constant noise made it difficult to get a decent night's sleep.
The room itself felt tired and I suspect that ten years ago it would have looked quite smart, but time has not been kind to it. The wallpaper was peeling in...
