"We arrived at Thainstone Hotel on Saturday late afternoon . We asked to book our meal for supper as we were going to a show just across from hotel , as the show starts at 7.30 , we needed to book a meal a bit earlier , the receptionist said we can’t serve meals till 7.30 as there is a wedding in process.
She said she will ask the chef but he said no . Even a sandwich would b better than nothing , but no . She said she couldn’t even offer a bag of crisps as they hadn’t any of them either..So we...

"Was not expecting this to be an extremely busy place, lineups to get bar service in order to get ice. No fridge in the room. Bathroom was really nice but the rest of the unit was extremely dated and the mattresses were not new, they were old spring mattresses. No AC but fans and a portable heater were provided.
Asked the staff for kleenex, sorry we dont have any, asked for toilet paper, we dont have any. Food choices were extremely expensive and when I went in to ask what was available, they...

"Nice stay. Hotel was busy so nice atmosphere at dinner and breakfast. All staff very approachable and helpful.
Some works being done to upgrade the pool and spa facilities affected the make changing area."
