"We have stayed at the Yakinthos at least 6 times over the last 20 years. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk to a lovely sandy beach and numerous restaurants. Lovely pool area. There is a bus stop nearby No 21 frequent bus service to Chania town. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is showing some signs of age but this is reflected in the price and the location makes up for it. The rooms facing the road can be noisy from the traffic so I would recommend booking a...

"We couldn’t have dreamed of a better location and view from our balcony! This is close to many restaurants and shops. Yannis at the reception desk was very welcoming and helpful. This is old but wonderful. If you are expecting something perfect and new do not stay here. If you’d like something authentic, close to everything in the Old Port and with a breathtaking view of the lighthouse and harbor, this is your place. Make sure you specify room with a balcony. Highly recommend Nostos Hotel!❤️"

"An absolute gem. The private beach is much nicer than the photos, perfect for snorkelling, the two pools are great and all the amenities kept in great condition. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff always friendly. It’s probably the best hotel anywhere near this price, fully recommend!"

"If there is a word that best describes this property its the filoxenia from the staff. Clean hotel, recently renovated pool and bedrooms. Lovely relaxing beach close by. Also easy access to the town and other nearby beaches if one would like to go as an option. Nice restaurants on the main road followed by a local supermarket, bakeries, petrol station. "The property a was great except for a couple of minor things. We were on the third floor and carrying luggage up and down the spiral stairs wasn't fun and the shower was not very roomy. Other than that we loved our room with an outside patio view of Old Chania. The gentleman (I forgot his name but he either owns it or ran it) that checked us in was extremely friendly and informative. We would definitely stay there again if/when we ever go back to Chania. "
