"First thing to know is that a cab does not pull up to the hotel as the area is restricted to vehicles. Mind you it’s not a far walk, but we came in by bus from Heraklion and it took us a bit to find the hotel and we had a few suitcases to lug with us. Thankfully the wheels did not fall off😂. "en fantastisk upplevelse och grym service och all personal kan kommunicera på engelska så det är lätt att göra sig förstådd, fint hotell där man har nära till stranden med solsängar men man måste gå upp vid 07:00 och åka frukost och vara färdig för stranden till 08:00 om man ska ha chans att få tag i en solsäng."

"The hotel rooms are spacious and clean, staff are very friendly and accomodating, always working to please. Beach is down the street and has a public beach so we didnt need to rent chairs and umbrella. We rented a car and were able to park it at the hotel. Taxi to city center is 15 euros and there is also a bus that stops in front of hotel and costs 1.50 euro. Breakfast at the hotel is plentiful. "Very clean and cute hotel with central location and excellent service. Loved the decor, the vibe, the breakfast at the terrace, the comfortable bed and the pillow. The only downside for us was the noise and music coming from the several restaurants from the street below (until about 1 AM). Also you can hear almost everything from the combined reception/wine bar/breakfast area from the room we stayed in. There was soundproofing but if you are light sleeper or want to go to bed early take this...

"Great hotel in the centre of Rethymno. A short walk into the old town. Lovely room, we were upgraded to a larger room with balcony that got the sun well into the evening. The pool area was lovely. Buffet breakfast was probably more suited to guests with no special dietary requirements but thats only a small negative.Mikalis was super helpful thank you! "

"Das Hotel Alianthos Beach ist ideal gelegen. Über die Straße kommt man direkt zum Strand. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist abwechslungsreich und lecker. Das Essen im Restaurant ist ebenfalls sehr lecker und man sitzt sehr schön unter den Bäumen mit Blick aufs Meer. Kleiner Kritikpunkt: Wir wurden zuerst in einem Zimmer zur Seite ohne Meerblick untergebracht, obwohl wir Meerblick gebucht hatten. Am nächsten Tag konnten wir in ein Zimmer mit sehr schönem Ausblick umziehen. "

"The hotel property is a beautifuly restored very old mansion with its historical character well maintained. Each room is unique with patches of original stonework and timber, while at the same time having modern bathroom facilities. The location was perfect for walking around the center of the lovely town. IiIn addition, the owner was very personable and helpful."
