"This is an old hotel. Clean and tidy. Walking distance to town centre and some of the main sites. Quiet. (We were on 3rd floor). No lift but that was ok for us. Character - slightly sloping floor. Good value"

"Service in the dining areas was poor. I needed to ask for things like water and coffee two or three times before receiving the items. Most of the food was good however I ordered a bread plate - the sliced bread was dried out and the butter was hard as a rock - was very disappointing. "

"Property was nice for what we paid, very convient location in oban and oban itself was lovely. Breakfast room and breakfast was delicious although a little pricey, but was a good feed. Room was clean and spacious. Only issue was parking had booked hotel as it stated parking available, unfortunately there was only 3/4 space then rest was public paid parking and was very limited as oban itself was very busy, if arriving later in the day this could have been a really issue. "An amazing little hotel in a quiet little street in Tobermory. Lovey, compact town, everywhere is within easy walking distance but there are a few hills. The facilities were really good, nice little bar with great food. We were made to feel really welcome, even our little toy poodle, George. We all loved our 4 night stay and definitely hope to return one day. "

"La télé n'a pas fonctionné même après la réparation d'un employé. Pas de pression sous la douche, juste un petit filet d'eau. Un des matelas était très mou, l'autre était correct. Rien autour de l'hôtel . On attend plus vu le prix de de la nuit !"

"Staff were excellent, and very hospitable. The food at their restaurant/cafe was simply superb. The room was decent, pretty much as advertised. A couple of minor issues about the facilities were brought to the owners' attention, but otherwise, the stay was a very pleasant experience. Thank you!"

"The hosts were very friendly and helpful, the food was great and the beds were comfortable. The location is excellent, out-of-the-way, with prime vies over the Sound of Mull and Ardtornish Castle, and wildlife all around."

"This is a beautiful hotel overlooking the loch , it’s out of the way and very private. The food is fantastic, small menu but something for every taste. "

"Ett äldre mysigt litet hotell. Vi hade tur som fick ett rum på 3:e våningen för det finns ingen hiss. Litet rum men rent och mycket skön säng. Toppen med badkar som vi passade på att nyttja. Vi åt frukost sista morgonen och den var god och väl tilltagen, dock ganska dyr. Ägaren jätterar och charmig och serviceminded. Läget perfekt. Vi saknade fri Wi-Fi men ett ställe nära (LuLu) hade bra uppkoppling så en drink och lite surfing blev bra."
