"The rooms were spacious. Staff was very nice. However, I was very disappointed when our invoice showed charges of $40 for parking. I don’t ever remember paying for parking. It should be free. Especially when we park ourselves in front of the room. I wasn’t happy about that at all. "

" Excellent location. Our balcony view was great and the handicap room was spacious and had everything needed. It was our anniversary and they provided us with 2 bottles of water and 2 snacks"

"We could not have been happier during our stay. The only possible complaint is that the pillows are rather thick. Breakfast was as good or better than any hotel/motel that we've ever stayed at. Quiet, clean and well decorated dining area. "

"Very comfortable beds. The breakfast included a very nice selection of hot food items, assorted breads,fruit, and cereal. The only down side is the parking but that is to be expected in downtown Fernandina."

"Overall we had a great stay. Room was clean and staff was friendly. Pool was nice, could use someone to run around and pick up garbage around the pool and would hve been nice to have some shade around the pool. Overall grest stay and liked to breakfast in the morning!"

"This Inn is very comfortable and unique. Lots of history. The continental breakfast was better than average. The quiche was outstanding. Julie is very attentive and helpful. The hotel in right in the Downtown so you can walk around and get lunch, dinner, shop, get a drink, listen to live entertainment. The place is old so you need to accept the imperfections but all that it has to offer outweighs the imperfections. "

"We have stayed at the Village Inn and Pub several times. This is a beautiful property with a wonderful staff. The rooms are very nice and clean. The beds are very comfortable. The Pub has a lot of character and a great nightlife. The location is perfect for walking to many restaurants and bars, and visiting the pier and light house. We always have a lovely, memorable time when staying here and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. "

"I loved the decoration and the beach boutique hotel feeling. Staff were friendly . The view was amazing and it had an easy access to the beach . We would love to come again. Next time we’ll be more careful about the difference between beach front and beach view rooms because the photos look alike .."
