"Finding lodging in Iceland isn't easy on a budget. So when I saw this "relatively" low priced guesthouse, I must say I wasn't expecting much. What a great surprise it was! It couldn't have been any cleaner. No carpets anywhere (carpets in hotels are rarely fresh and clean). It was extremely quiet. There was a balcony. My friend and I were in a room with a shared bathroom and there were only 3 rooms sharing the bathroom. Walking out the front door the big church is just a block away and in full...

"Really decent place, especially for the price. Very cut-and-dry self check-in kind of place. It’s in a good central location and only a few minutes away from Bus Stop 6. I did read other reviews that there were issues with the check in codes and noise from the bar, but I didn’t experience either of these problems. If you don’t need a ton of amenities, I recommend it."

"We had a trouble getting the pin pad work, but when we called the contact number at the door they solved the problem right away. Room is very clean and also the bathroom as well, it was very nice. Only thing was there’s no closed door in the shower, so water kept running out and it was little hard to keep it dry the area."

"We needed a one night stay for 5 before heading home the next day. This apartment did the trick. The only thing I would suggest is better communication at check-in. I thought it would be a key code vs having to return to the hotel to get the key… also the fob vs a key code is a bit tough with several people. One person needed to have the fob with them to let anyone in… a code would have allowed more freedom to enter. "
