"While Zero Box is unusual per the no windows the reality this location in Porto is awesome. For me, having a nice large bathroom is outstanding, plus the sauna, and the rooftop cold plunge, which is also a cool place to work. The breakfast was very fresh and well done, and again, that area is a place you can chill/work as well. Very lucky to have found Zero Box by accident...HIGHLY recommend it."

The staff were very helpful, and the hotel features a good breakfast and a very nice restaurant. It is close to the Metro station, and while it is a little far from the city center, but taking an Uber or Bolt is not too pricey. I enjoyed my stay here. It was a good experience and is highly recommended!"

"The location of the hotel was close to the Mercado Bolhao, and everything else is walkable. The shower area is a little bit quirky since there is no way to prevent the water from overflowing into the rest of the bathroom. "Room was clean - Love the concept, but had issues. Towel Hooks were not anchored - could not hang the towels, soap dish in shower was hanging, not able to put anything on it, sink faucet was loose, and curtains were not hooked properly at one end. Staff are pleasant; however, when I reported issues with the room, they did not offer an alternative room and said they would send someone to fix the issues. No one ever came throughout our stay. "Me and my husband stayed for a night at The Gate Hotel. Staffs are very polite and helpful. Thank you to Hillary Gonzalo for being so nice and making sure that we're please with everything. The room is very clean and the bathroom is updated and very clean as well. Its so sad that it was only for a night coz need to go to Lisbon. Location is great. Highly recommend to my friends and will sure comeback for more time to explore beautiful Porto."
