"If you want a sleek modern hotel, this is NOT the place for you. (Not all the rooms have en suite bathrooms, for instance.) It is like an old fashioned neighbor hood tavern: rooms are charming and furnished with vintage pieces and colors. Restaurant is good, and clearly popular with the neighbor hood. Staff is charming, helpful, and friendly. HIghly recommended."

"This accomodation was great! Very clean and had a newly renovated bathroom which was lovely. Room was clean and provided everything we needed. Very conveniently located in the city. Complementary breakfast provided which suited to our dietary requirements for a lactose and gluten intolerance. Ange is a fantastic host and we’d happily return again when we’re in Hobart. "

"We had a lovely stay at Hakari. The views are exceptional and it’s only a short drive in to the main city of Hobart. Long beach is also just down the road which was great for the kids. The house had everything we needed, plenty of space and lovely in door and outdoor fires for the colder months. Would definitely recommend. "
